Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress, best known for portraying detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medicine drama The Resident.
