Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite popular. Her mother was her primary caregiver in the USA in a place where she endured many racial taunts that left her feeling like a non-person. After entering a ninth-grade school audition where she was praised for her voice and acoustics, she began to gain confidence. This not only increased her confidence but her ambitions transformed. She graduated from the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. She started her professional journey when she was 23 years old, appearing in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and You've Got Mail in film. Her biggest break came with her performance as The Lady of The Lake, in the original Broadway version of Spamalot. She was awarded the Tony Award and received great appreciation for her performance. Following that she was cast in the role of Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gain more fame. She is also a known singer and has released an extended play. She's also an activist who fights for LGBT rights.
